ABOUT

Hi, I'm Alé.

(AH-leh… like Allelujah)

I’m a nature-lover, child of the water, and foodie on a lifelong journey of ancestral re-memberance and mindful, embodied living. I’m a proud Brown non-binary first gen Turtle Islander in the Pilipinx diaspora, and my pronouns are they/siya. If there are plants or dogs around, I’m happy. ✿

I am grateful to be doing work every day that I love and am passionate about. I’m highly experienced in a number of areas of design: email marketing, website design, digital advertising, presentation decks, ebooks, white papers, print collateral, merch, hand-lettering, illustration, and more.

If you’re in need of something visual, dynamic and engaging, I’d love to chat more with you. Maybe we can create something really great together.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term non-binary, you can read more about it, what it means, and why it’s important here: transequality.org

Land Acknowledgement: I am currently settled on the ancestral lands of Shawandasse Tula, Kaskaskia, Myaamia, Hopewell- Indigenous relatives (also known by its settler name Killumbus, OHI-YO). I recognize these tribes as as past, present, and future caretakers of this land, recognizing narratives that have been erased and the Sacred Land that’s been stolen and continues to be extracted from by colonialism and white supremacy.
